Set up your sender details
Choose the name and address your emails come from, add your mailing address and pick your timezone.
Updated October 23, 2026
Your sender details tell people who the email is from and where replies go. They appear on every email you send. You need them before you can send anything, including a test.
Fill in your details
- Open Settings.
- Under Sender details, fill in the fields described below.
- Under Preferences, pick your Timezone.
- Click Save.
Sender name
The name people see in their inbox, usually your business name (for example Bloom Bakery). It can be up to 80 characters. Your sender name is also the shop name shown on your sign-up forms.
Sender email
The address your emails come from, like hello@yourshop.com. It must be at a domain you own and have verified. If the domain is not verified yet, SendDuo shows a warning at the top of Settings and sending is blocked until it is. See Verify your sending domain.
Reply-to (optional)
If you want replies to go to a different inbox, enter that address here. Leave it empty and replies go to your sender email. You can also set a different reply-to on a single campaign.
Physical mailing address
Anti-spam laws, like CAN-SPAM in the United States, require every marketing email to include a valid postal address for the sender. It lets people know who you are and how to reach you. SendDuo adds it to the footer of every email, next to the unsubscribe link.
It does not have to be your home address. A PO box or a virtual mailbox address is fine, as long as you can receive mail there.
Timezone
SendDuo uses your timezone for schedules and every date it shows you. It starts as UTC until you pick one, so set it to where your business is.
